Are SMS charges included in the plan?

Solo Practice plan includes 500 SMS/month. Group/Clinic plans include 2,000/month. Additional usage is $0.02/SMS at cost.

Can clients opt out of SMS?

Yes, per CAN-SPAM and TCPA regulations. Clients can opt out at any time with one click; mePro tracks opt-outs and never sends to opted-out numbers.

Do reminders work for telehealth sessions?

Yes — telehealth reminders include the video session link so clients don't have to dig through their email at session time.

What about international SMS?

Supported for 60+ countries. International SMS costs vary by country and are passed through at our cost.

Will SMS reminders show my practice name as the sender?

On Solo Practice plans, SMS comes from a shared pool number with your practice name prefixed. On Group/Clinic plans, you can connect a dedicated number with full sender ID branding (verified through TCR for US regulations).

Can I customize reminder wording per service type?

Yes. Per-service templates let you customize wording for intake vs follow-up, individual vs couples, in-person vs telehealth. Variables like {client_first_name}, {session_time}, and {session_type} interpolate per send.
