What if a client has poor internet?

mePro's video adapts to low bandwidth, falls back to audio-only if needed, and supports phone dial-in for the worst cases.

Is the video really HIPAA-compliant?

Yes — end-to-end encrypted, BAAs included for all plans, audit logged. We use Daily.co under the hood (the same tech behind Zoom for Healthcare).

Can sessions be recorded?

Optionally, with client consent. Recordings are encrypted, stored in your practice, never shared.

Does it support multi-participant for couples or family?

Yes — up to 8 participants in a single session, perfect for couples, family, and group therapy.

Is there a waiting room before sessions start?

Yes. Clients arrive in a branded waiting room (your practice name, your colors) where they see a 'preparing for session' message. You see them appear and admit when you're ready. Useful when you're running over.

Are background blur and virtual backgrounds supported?

Yes for both therapist and client. Built-in background blur is one click. Custom backgrounds are supported (your practice logo or a calming scene). Processing happens client-side — no video data is uploaded for blur.
